Website terms

A few clear
understandings.

Please read these terms when using the Energ Link website.

Last updated: 19 October 2026

General information

This website provides general information about solar, batteries and EV charging. Information may change. It is not a site assessment, engineering design, financial advice or a binding offer to supply goods or services.

Projects and proposals

Availability, equipment, installation arrangements, approvals, pricing, GST treatment, timelines, payment terms and warranties must be confirmed in a written proposal and any applicable agreement. Submitting an enquiry does not create an installation contract.

Illustrative calculations

The savings explorer uses user-entered assumptions to illustrate annual electricity value. It does not predict generation, total bill savings, return on investment or payback. Actual outcomes depend on weather, site conditions, electricity use, equipment, tariffs, export constraints and other factors.

Images and external links

Images are illustrative and do not represent completed Energ Link New Zealand projects unless expressly identified. External links are provided for reference; linked organisations do not endorse Energ Link by appearing here.

Use of this website

Use the website lawfully. Do not attempt to disrupt it, submit abusive or misleading content, or gain unauthorised access. Website text, design and brand materials may not be reused without permission, except as allowed by law.

Your legal rights

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or limit rights or protections that cannot be excluded under New Zealand law, including applicable rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986.
